Auction Results – transparency, must be a good thing?
Between Australia & NZ, some things are different and some things remain the same.
Lets not talk about Rugby today, cause after the Kiwis result last night would have to admit I’ve been on the receiving end over here today…….
However in the some things different category today, came this….

ooopphs…sorry that is me at my Auntie’s seaside Cafe on the Gold Coast….deep in thought considering the “different” things. (Fantastic place for a Saturday or Sunday morning Big Breakfast – bit of a locals secret because its only open in the weekends – can’t visit during the week-email or txt me and I’ll let you know where it is-then again if you’re on the Broadwater and travelling by….from the picture above you’ll know what to look out for! If you’ve got youngsters then yes as you can see the locals definitely know about it.)
Actually here is the different thing……..

Theres no doubt, “transparency” is the new black……because its sure been the catchword in recent times.
How much fun would it be to actually see weekly these sort of details published in a local newspaper?
Greig Metcalfe touched on exactly this in a very recent post about the provision of “decision making/market comparision” information being provided in almost a “real time” sense to interested parties.
When you are told by your prospective Real Estate Agent that “Auction” is the way to go, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to check recent data like this to confirm your decision?
Love to know your thoughts.
Do you think this sort of data outflow would assist the selling public to decide more confidently in New Zealand?
