Feilding Market Down A Bit In November

After 3 months averaging 31 sales per month, November saw a drop to 25 sales of residential properties through all real estate agencies in Feilding, whereas Palmerston North jumped from 101 to 123.

The median value is at $245,000 in Feilding, calculated over 3 months and compares to:

Holiday Break – Time For Housing Decisions

Many people and families use the time over the Christmas/New Year period to discuss their housing needs.

Some growing families need more space, and some retired people need small properties that are easier to maintain.

What is Feilding Missing?

Feilding is a stunning country town, with great lifestyle and facilities, and is a top place to raise a family.

In terms of property, we are missing some stylish apartments in and on the edge of our attractive town centre in my opinion. These should be above ground floor, with pleasant outlook and receiving good sunshine. We don’t need many, but we need a few. Some of these should be for owner occupants and some should be for tenants.

We are also missing some very superior townhouses on compact sections in a good location. These would be aimed at “empty nester couples” who have had a large family home on a large section or farm, and now want to travel, play golf etc etc. We have many good townhouses, but we need some larger very superior townhouses.

I would be interested to hear your views on what Feilding is missing.
