2 Markets in NZ

Auckland and Christchurch are experiencing prices increases in their residential property markets, caused by shortages in supply. The rest of New Zealand is experiencing stable pricing. This is a generalisation, but largely accurate.

Feilding’s median sale price calculated over 3 months is $247,000, and has stayed between $244,000 and $253,000 all year.

Palmerston North’s is at $268,600, and has stayed between $261,250 and $271,000 all year.

Levin sits at $172,000, Pahiatua at $127,750,Wanganui at $164,000 and Rangitikei at $155,000. Feilding has performed better than it’s neighbours over the last 20 years.

The median for NZ is $368,000, and that for Eastern Suburbs in Auckland is now $900,000! We are an affordable region of Godzone!

Kind regards, Michael
