From Harveys first appearance in Taupo in 1998, the Company has invested considerable amounts of money in marketing both in Taupo, throughout New Zealand, and on the internet, in the belief that this extensive advertising will attract more buyers and therefore produce better results for the home seller.
This philosophy has developed and been expanded upon, resulting in Harveys Taupo becoming one of the most successful Real Estate offices in New Zealand. The Taupo office has been the top sales office in the Harveys group every year this century and has also been the number one Auction office every year. The sales team includes some of the country’s top performing salespeople and the top 20 salespeople in the entire Harveys group usually includes several from the Taupo office.
Some companies have embarked on a reduced fee basis for sellers, which at first appears an attractive proposition. However Harveys have demonstrated on numerous occasions that more marketing attracts more buyers which often results in buyer competition leaving the home seller with many thousands (sometimes tens of thousands) of dollars more than they may have otherwise achieved. Lower fee companies can only, for obvious reasons, offer limited marketing and therefore limited results.
