A mere 8 days on the market is not too bad, especially for a non insured home. The auction was brought forward with an acceptable pre-auction offer and sold for additional $97,000 above that figure in what could be described as an emotive bidding war. With just 24 hours to pull together sufficient funds and complete adequate due diligence, it is amazing what can be done when there is a hint of a bargain.
