Celebrating Success…

Who said you can’t sell TC3 properties? The sale of 49A Wainoni Road confirmed last week and while the purchasers secured it at a very affordable level the property bordered the red zone on two boundaries! Needless to say a few eyebrows were raised by lending institutions. The bottom line is both seller and buyer are happy – the owners have already started their move to the country and the buyers launch into the world of landlordship – life moves forward positively for both parties and I would have to say the celebratory Champagne was a nice drop too!

Rosie takes out 1st spot again…
Not bragging or anything, but my youngest (who is turning 14 today) is back to her top form and took out the number 1 spot for the overall winner of her grade at a gymnastics competition in Auckland over the weekend – high fives all round Rosie!

Driving in Auckland peak hour…
Travelling 11.3kms in 45mins is not really my way of an enjoyable start to a drive from Auckland airport to visit my Mum last Friday at rush hour! There are far too many cars in Auckland and while I don’t really relish Christchurch’s earthquake damaged roads (especially with low profile tyres and sports suspension) it is definitely the better of the two evils. Maybe that’s why our tickets were cheap – all the Aucklanders snapped up the earlier ones?!

Well that’s all from me this week – take care and don’t book any flights arriving in Auckland during rush hour!
