Spring into action!

…..and the clocks go forward on September 26th and the loooooong awaited lazy summer evenings (I perhaps might even get a night fishing with my husband in the gulf!)

This is a great season to shake off the winter blues … explore our wonderful community and get fit and ready for summer.

A few dates for your diary: Sat 18th September World parks day 2010 so in our Village is a MOVIE NIGHT! Historic film screening in the Fencible Walk (outdoor new projector screen) from 7pm, you may need your blankie…hopefully not an umbrella, mulled wine or a flask of tea? Bring the family and enjoy this Viullage event
BMX – Pigeon Mountain Reserve on Pigeon Mountain Road are hosting a BMX open day, action packed, free runs around the track, sausage sizzle and demos!!
Now that we’ve entertained the family now it’s into the garden ready for those summer barbies or possibly a summer house sale!  Free composting courses which I highly recommend on Saturday 9th October and 6th November at Highland Park Community House 47 Aviemore Drive, Highland Park.
Keep posted we will have some information on some exciting school holiday activities later in the week……
