Sean is a senior residential property consultant in the great team at Professionals Kennard Real Estate. Having chosen to pursue a career in real estate at the relatively young age (for the industry) of 24, he commenced working for Philip Kennard in May 1995.
He has never looked back and says that “starting when I did and working under such a mentoring manager such as Philip has ensured that I have gained the skills and ability to survive the toughest of market places and to gain an immense knowledge of the real estate industry.”
The passion to be the best he can be in his chosen career has seen him gain qualification as a “Licensed Real Estate Agent”, is an associate member of the real estate institute, and has graduated with a National Diploma in Real Estate from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
Sean believes that success is “seeing my clients achieve what they were ultimately aiming to achieve and having done so with my help”. He also says that the deal doesn’t just end there – “I like to make clients for life and you do that by ensuring that they get the best service possible, and by being professional in everything you do. People want to deal with real people and want to know that their biggest asset is in the hands of an experienced agent that has the skills and knowledge to get the job done in the best possible way with the least amount of hassle”.
It is this philosophy that has seen Sean regularly attain “Top 10% & 20% award achievements for the Professionals Group nationwide. Having successfully negotiated more than 400 sales , and over $50 million dollars in sales, means that when you engage Sean to get your property sold, you know you are getting someone with a proven track record, invaluable experience, and market knowledge that is often the difference between a sale slightly below market value, and one above market value.
Sean was born and raised in Canterbury and is married to Serina and together they have 2 children, Maddison aged 4 years & Jayden aged 4 months. Sean states that “family is extremely important to me and I always try and balance work with family time.”
Sean lists his hobbies as playing bridge, dancing, socialising, music, movies, writing poetry, spending time with family and friends, golf, and trying to learn to play the guitar.
Sean says that he started this blog because.. “I enjoy writing and also enjoy helping others and keeping them informed and this seemed the perfect gateway in which to do all three. (I said I enjoyed writing – not that I was good at it! he he.)”
A final message from Sean…. “Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope you find my blogs informative and enjoyable and I would welcome any comments or suggestions my readers may have.”
