With a population of just over 2,000 Arrowtown is the preferred home for families and holiday makers with schools and recreation facilities for the younger set while excellent restaurants, cafes and entertainment caters for everyone else.
There are three ski fields close by, hiking, mountain bike riding and back country experiences for the adrenalin set and petanque, a really good library and plenty of cafes for those who prefer to keep both feet on the ground together.
Just 20 kms from Queenstown and 12 kms to the International Airport, there are plenty of reasons to visit Arrowtown, least of all being the choice of Real Estate that is available.
