Waterview Kindergarten is a well established kindergarten situated next to Waterview Primary School in central West Auckland.
The kindergarten is well resourced and the learning environment supports children’s independent thinking. Children enjoy a high quality Early Childhood Programme where they have extended opportunities to engage in play and activities of their choice. The large and exciting outdoor area invites exploration and allows space for physical challenge.
Waterview Kindergarten is a two-teacher kindergarten, with strong parental involvement in the running and programme. Teachers are welcoming and enthusiastic, and children and families demonstrate a strong sense of belonging in the kindergarten.
The kindergarten caters for children from many of the neighbouring communities around Waterview suburb. Children usually start into the afternoon session around their third birthday.
Waterview Kindergarten has a warm, friendly atmosphere where families are welcome to come join in the fun, share their talents with teachers and children, or sit and relax with a good book from our parent library.
