Vodafone Comes Right

Give praise when praise is due – below is a little story about me, Vodafone and PhoneInsure. This time I can say well done and thank you Vodafone!

Your Question 14/09/2011 09:47 PM

Dear Vodafone,In December 2010 I received a new iPhone4 from PhoneInsure instead of my lost iPhone 3Gs. Since PhoneInsure doesn’t insure iPhone4 the vodafone rep at your Queen Street shop assured me he will remove future charges from my bill. This hasn’t happened even after called the Vodafone call centre and asked for charges to be removed and for a refund. I was told that PhoneInsure has to refund me and when I called them they said Vodafone needs to refund me. At this stage neither did I get a refund on insurance that is not valid for my phone nor the reoccurring charges have been removed. I don’t have time to spend talking to Vodafone and PhoneInsure for hours to sort this out so I will ask you to take care of this immediately. I’m owed nine months of $9.95 +GST and I ask for the insurance charges to stop.

Kind regards,

Ariel Levin

Dear Ariel
Thank you for your website enquiry.
My sincere apologies for the delay with responding to your email.
I have tried to contact you today via phone but was unsuccessful, however I did leave you a brief message.
I am sorry to hear that your previous request to remove phone insure and credit your months access was not done as per your request by the Vodafone representative in Queen street.
I have removed phone insurance for you today and have credited your account for the amount of $102.96 over the 9 months you were charged for phone insure.
Please note that the following credit adjustment will show on your next generated invoice.
If you have any further queries please let me know.
Again I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
If you have any further queries please let me know.
Have a great day.
Kind regards
