RE: Ariel Levin, Sale of 40 Herdman Street, Waterview
We appointed Ariel Levin to sell our Waterview house. Although we interviewed another agent who offered us a very lucrative fixed fee commission and marketing rebates, we chose to work with Ariel because he has a track record of selling homes in the area. Ariel also demonstrated confidence in selling our home and an understanding of our needs and had lots of energy and enthusiasm.We agreed on a set date of sale marketing plan and based on Ariel’s recommendations prepared the house for sale and got it professionally photographed. Ariel prepared all the advertising in the New Zealand Herald, the Internet and even featured our home on YouTube and on his blog – everything looked great and very promising. But when the first week of open homes started, we were disappointed – only three people showed up, two of them were neighbours…

Ariel assured us that there was nothing to worry about and asked us to trust the process. The second weekend came but we had no buyers through. Again Ariel assured us that we only need one buyer and that our home would sell in the agreed time frame of 3.5 weeks…we were starting to grow a little worried.
On the third and final weekend we finally had one buyer through and they liked the house! They asked to come back on Tuesday with a builder, which was a positive sign. Not only that but another buyer asked to come and view the home on the Tuesday – the final day before the set date of sale.
Ariel worked with the two buyers and, just as he promised us, presented us with not one but two offers for our home, one of them above our desired price – naturally we were delighted!
Finally we understood why Ariel asked us to trust the process and was always positive and confident he would sell our home.
Our experience of working with Ariel was positive from start to finish and he was very supportive and provided lots of valuable input to make the property presentable. We are happy to recommend him as a highly trusted real estate agent and we are very positive that we will work with him in the future again.
