I thought you are only suppose to feature photos of the house and surroundings in an internet listing. This agent thinks differently. I wonder what the home owners think? And what about RealEstate.co.nz guideline Alistair, can they actually do this?

Jesus – that would give you a fright if it popped up in the middle of a set of house photos!
Hi Ariel,
We certainly don’t allow agents to use a listing to promote themselves on Realestate.co.nz – apart from displaying their photo and details in the designated area – and if that is the case we will remove the listing from the site.
However, with offices using software to upload listings and photos there is always the opportunity for error and also this office has just been set up on our system, so it could be a case of teething problems in this instance. Neither the agent’s name or contact details are displayed anywhere on the listing page, making the photo rather redundant as a means of self-promotion.
Either way, I have now removed the agent’s photo and we are contacting the office to make sure this will not be ongoing.
