January 2011 Rental Market Update
Allen Realty experienced a strong rental market over the pre-Xmas period with increased demand and low vacancies. This was followed by a small increase in vacancies during the Xmas holidays in St Heliers, Albany and West Auckland, however the end of January saw most of these vacancies filled as potential tenants returned to work.
January 2011 has continued to see an upward trend with high demand and short supply of rental properties in the central Auckland area. Allen Realty believes the rental market will remain strong during 2011, aided by world-class events such as the Rugby World Cup.
